PROPHETIC DECLARATION

MARK YOUR CALENDAR:

SEPTEMBER 2010 - DECEMBER 2011

Many people who are close to me know that I function under the "Prophetic Anointing". One may ask, what is the "Prophetic Anointing"?; and I'm so glad that you asked! The Bible declares first in the Old Testament to the minor prophet Joel  in chapter 2 verse 28, "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions." Then God wanted to make sure the point got across and stated it again in Acts 2:17, "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." Biblical commentator Charles Dailey with translation from An understandable version of Acts by William E. Paul states,

"Since the prophecy was being fulfilled before their eyes, the very time Peter was speaking was the 'last days'. Usually only one or two prophets of each generation had the Holy Spirit. Here 12 Jewish sons were prophesying. Some daughters had already spoken out and Luke had reported their cases in Luke 1:41; 2:36-38. (The fulfillment was not confined to Pentecost Day.)"

All of this Biblical back-up justifies that the ability for one to minister by way of singing, preaching and even evangelize under the "Prophetic Anointing" is still active today! For Christ said in Matthew 5:17-18, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. " This once again states the "fact of the matter!"

THE PROPHETIC DECLARATION (Sept. 2010- Dec. 2011)

With true clarity, much confidence and correct judgment the Spirit of the Lord visited me in my time of meditation and revealed to his servant, an apostle, even the greater, that starting September of this year (2010) until December 2011, HE is going to bring about a 15 month span (1 year and 3 months) of DIVINE GRACE being poured out on the TRUE (not from their mouth, but from their heart) SAVE, SANCTIFIED and filled with the HOLY GHOST CHRISTIAN BELIEVERS'! Along with it, God is going to be issuing out HIS GLORY upon HIS PEOPLE like never before! The number 15, from a Biblical perspective, means divine grace. The time as been well over due and now it is coming to pass! The scriptures that are in reference to this prophecy are found, first, in Genesis 22: 17-18,  "Abraham Tested" and it states, "I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me." Then in Deuteronomy 1:8, Moses told the Israelites the words God had given him and they were, "See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore he would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them." Specifically what God is going to do in this 15 month span, as given through the utterance from the Holy Ghost, is as follows:

  • God is going to turn the media (television shows, movies) over to the RIGHTEOUS.
  • God is going to elevate the RIGHTEOUS who are in retail, corporate, and government to high ranking positions as only HE CAN.
  • God is going to honor the request of the RIGHTEOUS  by way of entrepreneurial efforts in whatever he or she has the desire to see oneself in!

The best part about it, is that God is going to send forth wisdom, as we earnestly welcome it, during this 15 month span, because wealth is going to increase so rapidly among the RIGHTEOUS that when the economy gets back "up and running", we would have already invested, saved and established ourselves and taken back everything the devil stole from us!

We've all sung "Blessings of Abraham" by Donald Lawrence and put emphasis on the verse, "get your inheritance, you are the seed, by faith receive, the BLESSINGS OF ABRAHAM!"; not only that, but we sing with much joy the new release, "Back II Eden" and we've declared we are going to "get back to Eden and live on top of the world!" Well, the time has come! Do not be mistaken, it is not all about money! God is able to give a "peace of mind, a joy that we thought we couldn't find"; "wisdom to know the difference"; "discernment" during this 15 month span.

After this happens, remember that "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).

The Theology of Women in Ministry

"The most sensitive and divisive issue in evangelicalism today, although not the most important one, is the issue of women in ministry." - Stanley, et. al

My maternal grandmother seen in the above photo with me was the first women in over 100 years in the Summer Grove Baptist & Educational Association within the state of South Carolina to be licensed and ordained into ministry. Licensed and Ordained close to twenty years and still going strong, she is the epitome of women and their role as a proclaimer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

She set the pace for other women in the area, Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) in which we stayed, to take on their calling in full confidence. "The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor and proclaim freedom for the prisoner and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." (Luke 4:18b-19)

God has no respect of persons, He shows no favoritism (Romans 2:11). The church of the 21st century is now establishing and accepting, through being efficiently educated in the word-of-God, that women in ministry is okay! Little did I know that my maternal grandmother, who raised me along with my grandfather, would have a profound impact and influence on my calling into the ministry.

When the Lord called me to preach, my complaint was that I felt that I was too young to preach. Just like the call of Samuel in the house of Eli that came so profoundly, I had to say "Speak Holy Spirit, for thy servant listens" (I Samuel 3:9)! I was only nineteen years of age at the time and it took a while to come to grips with the calling on my life. Finally, at the age of twenty I went forth and accepted the call on August 09, 2009 and did my Initial Sermon and furthermore, was Licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I thank God for my maternal grandmother, the Reverend Sheldonia Brown!

The facts of the matter:

  • The authority of Miriam, Deborah, and Huldah in the Old Testament demonstrates "the seeds of an egalitarian strand unparalleled among surrounding nations."
  • Women, like men, functioned as authoritative prophets in the community (cf. Acts 2:16-17: 21:8-19; 1 Cor. 11:5).
  • Women also functioned as co-workers (cf. esp. Romans 16), and Paul calls on Believers' to submit to such co-workers (1 Cor. 16:6)

A word of encouragement:

Don't underestimate the power of the Holy Ghost in your life and definitely do not let your age, gender (females), past and even social class status get in your way of doing the work and following out the will of God for your life! For Philippians 1:6 declares, "being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
